Who killed the pawnbroker in Osaka? What is pitiful about his story? Keigo Higashino’s bestselling mystery thriller "White Night” was at the center of a discussion at the China-EU School of Law on 12 November 2015. Lu Xin, Associate Professor at Shandong University, spoke as a guest lecturer to the students. The session was organised by the postgraduate academic department in the Mingfa Building on Changping campus. The motto was "reading·communicating·listening·sharing”. After Prof. LU Xin, who specializes in Asian Popular Culture, had briefly summarized the plot, students discussed the novel enthusiastically with him for more than an hour. Chen Lingyu hosted the session.
