CESL co-organised the Third China-Europe Legal Forum

CESL co-organised the Third China-Europe Legal Forum (CELF) at the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome on 8-9 September 2015. Under the patronage of the European Parliament and with partners including the China Law Society, UNIDROIT, the Bar Association of Rome and CESL, the Forum’s topic this year is "Re-paving the legal and economic Silk Road".

The conference covered current topics of legal reform in China and China-EU cooperation.

Represented institutions at this year’s Forum were include the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Italy, Legislative Section of the Office of the Italian Premier, Italian Inter-House Parliamentary Association for relations between China and Italy, and the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation.

Three of CESL’s faculty members delivered speeches during the Forum, including Dr. Rainer Kulms (Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law), Prof. Danièle Alexandre (University of Strasbourg) and Dr. Clemens Richter (CESL/Beijing)."
