Job Opportunity for Research Assistant in CESL Consortium Office in Hamburg

As soon as possible we are looking for a research assistant for the following project:

China-EU School of Law (CESL)

The successful candidate will be required to work 19.5 hours per week. The main place of work is in Hamburg. This is a short-term contract and will end on 31.12.2014.

Responsibilities:

Duties include academic services for the project. In addition the job holder will be in charge of various organizational tasks for the China-EU School of Law. This encompasses mainly the organization of the Master Program in European and International Law. Stays for several weeks in Beijing can be required.

Basic requirements:
• Master’s degree (or above), preferably in European and international law
• Excellent command of English (English is the working language); applications from native speakers are welcome.
• Command of Mandarin is a plus.
• Willingness to travel
Preference will be given to disabled applicants with equal qualifications.
